Glossary

  • Hazing: action or situation, with or without the consent of the participants, which recklessly, intentionally, or unintentionally endangers the mental, physical, or academic health or safety of a student.  
  • Harrassment: the act or an instance of harrassing, or disturbing, pestering, or troubling repeatedly; persecution. 
  • Humiliation:a feeling of great embarrassment because of a painful loss of pride, self-respect, or dignity.
  • Abuse:to treat in a harmful or injurious way.
  • Pranks: an amusing or playful trick.
  • Peer pressure: the action of influence or forcing to do things exercised by a group of people on someone.
  • Emotional harm: moral injury. 
  • Rituals: the practise of certain actions regularly. 
  • Physical abuse: to cause physical injury. 
  • Embarrassment: a feeling of shame. 
  • Injury: harm, damage, or wrong done or suffered.
  • Organizationa group of persons grouped together or organized for some purpose or work.
